A village in Yaroslavl oblast near Pereslavl-Zalessky. Previously, there was a main station for one of the longest narrow-gauge peat railways in the central part of Russia. But the railway closed long ago; there is a small museum in the former depot.
Most of the exhibits look deplorable.
Swallows live in the depot with the steam locomotives.
AM1 rail vehicle is being repaired.
Manufacturers plates.
For a reasonable fee you can take a trolley and take a brief ride.
You can go as far as 500 meters of the preserved tracks.
Two newly built wooden churches (2001 and 2003). Well fenced, you have to reach over the gates, to take a photo.
This place is good for mushroom hunting.
Getting there (as of September 2023): The village lies away from the main highways. The journey by car takes up to 3 hours via M-8 and Pereslavl-Zalessky.
