A town in Kaliningrad oblast, formerly known as Ragnit. It is close to Sovetsk and requires an entry permit too. The castle was damaged during the WWII, its ruins soon will get a glass roof.

One of the inhabitants of the house overlooking the castle is outraged by the reduction in the area of the country and its greatness.
Regular planning has not been implemented here, so you may stroll several pleasant winding streets.

Mennonite church (1853) near the hospital, which served as a meeting place for the NSDAP in 1933-1945. After the war, it housed a gym, but in 2006 it burned down. Since then, the building has been empty.
There used to be two Soviet statues in front of the entrance, but only one survived.
