A rich (in the past) village in Yaroslavl oblast, not far from Rostov. It has a magnificent but dilapidated ensemble of churches of Nicetas the Goth and Peter and Paul.
The bell tower built in 1810 is 83.7 meters high.
Frescoes of the Peter and Paul church.
Its aisles.
Nicetas the Goth church was used as a club in Soviet times. It stands without a roof after a big fire which took place in 1996.
Temple frog.
Necropolis.
Mansions of wealthy peasants.
Soviet house insurance plates.
Home of the fan of Russian special military operation.
The weather did not allow us to see the village properly.
And almost all the cats hid.
Getting in (as of September 2022): when travelling by car from Moscow turn right few kilometers before Rostov. Porecje-Rybnoe also can be reached by bus 104 from the center or the railway station of Rostov.
