Vasilyevskoe estate

 

Nice gothic manor in Moscow oblast. The estate is located on the territory of the sanatorium, but the entrance to the territory is unrestricted. I've been here in 2009, and it was a sad sight. The halls were vandalized, the ceilings could collapse at any moment, broken pianos were lying around, the decoration of the walls made of precious wood was infected by fungus. Now everything is restored. A movie was filmed inside.

 

Former greenhouse. Gothic windows are fake ones. Probably, they were also installed for some movie.

Getting in (as of June 2022): Slightly bumpy road from M1 highway. Frequent buses from Kubinka railway station to "Poselok imeni Gertsena".
