Belarus. Ishkold

 

A hamlet in Brest region, northeast of Baranovichi. You can see here the oldest Catholic church in Belarus retaining its original outlines - Holy Trinity Church (1497)

 

Mass was going on inside, so it was not possible to enter.

 

Posts for road signs here are made of concrete.

Getting in (as of June 2022): М1 highway, but you will have to make a small detour due to the lack of a direct exit. There is virtually no public transport.

Where to stay: no need to stay here.

Where to eat: either in Minsk or Brest.

What to buy: the only grocery store was closed.
