Bolshiye Dvory

A village in Moscow Oblast just to the north of Pavlovskiy Posad. It was built around former textile factory which now produces fire-fighting equipment.

A small square near the factory entrance.

Old houses to the west of the factory.

2-3-storey houses built in early 1950s to the south of the factory.

Most likely, they are already all doomed: they were built of low-quality cinder blocks. For example, the wall of this house on Chkalov drive collapsed in May 2022. By November most of its residents have already been given keys to new apartments.

The photo was taken in August 2022. I wonder if the owner removed the letter Z from the window after the mobilization in September? Or after the surrender of Kherson in November?

Kindergarten with a Soviet era sculpture "Maternity".

The new church is being built of foam blocks. Not the best substitute for cinder blocks.

Getting in (as of August 2022): M7 Volga highway (expect heavy jams on weekends). Frequent buses from Pavlovskiy Posad station.
