A village in Grodno oblast, with a neo-Gothic catholic Trinity church (1903).
It is one of the most venerated catholic churches in Belarus, all parking lots and roads nearby were occupied by parishioners. Many of them were from Lithuania.
A half-timbered former watermill with a dam.
Dismantled rotary mechanism.
Also you can look at the Belarusian nuclear power plant from afar. In the late 2010s its construction led to a deterioration in the already bad relations between Belarus and Lithuania, since this nuclear power plant is located very close to Vilnius.
Getting in (as of June 2022): take the E28 experssway from Minsk towards Vilnius, turn near Oshmany towards Ostrovets. Public transit options do exist but not really relevant.
What to buy: souvenir kiosk offers cups and plates with a pictures of the Trinity church or the nuclear plant. Or both of them simultaneously.
